My Boyfriend

He was more than my boyfriend
He was more than just a friend
He was someone I loved with my heart and soul …
and would till the end!
But when he said "I think its best we should be apart"…
that's the day he really broke my heart.

To this day I wonder Why?

When I think about it…
It only brings tears to my eyes
I wonder if he remembers…
all the fun times we had together
And how we said we would be together….
for ever and ever…

I never knew how much he meant to me until he left.
I waited patiently… counting down each single day…
And then he comes back with those piercing words…
Straight to the heart… bull’s-eye….. he won!

And now he’s gone away with my heart…
I don't know what to say or do…
but hope someday he’ll come back and say …
